Ben Davis carves as "BenZart"

Benzart offers hand carved Tiki products in Intricate detail. Small to large pendants are carved from domestic and exotic hardwoods. I also carve small to medium sized tikis (2 inches to 18 inches), all with amazingly fine detail.

I began my carving life as "Mr. Pelican" in Pompano/Deerfield Beach in the mid 1980's. Along with pelicans, dolphins, and indians, I also carved many large and small tikis.

 

 

I carved the 60 some odd tiki works at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino over 3 summers in 1989 1990, and 1991.

 

 

 

Since having both Thumbs surgically repaired and becoming re-inspired by the "Tiki Central .com" artists, I am now carving on a smaller scale, but with much deeper detail than previously possible.
